This is one of the more interesting projects we've been asked to tackle, a remote controlled automatic doggie door opener/closer/locking system for the family in Pepperell. They needed a door cut in the side of their house with access being inside a wall cabinet for their 2 golden retrievers. The door would be hooked to a remote controlled door opener & closer & locking system. Then the house would be connected via chain link to the dog pen out back. This would give the family the ability to let the dogs in or out during inclement weather with only a push of a button. Building the fence & door were no problem. But automating everything was tougher (seems nobody manufactures the product, off the shelf). We researched the technology and came up with an innovative solution.

Our lead carpenter's reaction to the technology test run-through, when the door handle started to slowly turn & the door started to move was "Man, it's like something from a horror movie!!"
